Snowy winter landscape- “January Snow.” - original oil painting on maple panel - (12x18”)

A snowy Canadian landscape that captured the quiet of a beautiful snowfall in the middle of winter. This oil painting was done from a photo I took in a nearby field, in Caledon, Ontario. I love winter and the snow is so beautiful in January here. This painting has cool blues and purples, both in the sky and the snow. (The colour of the painting is closest to the first two images shown in this listing.) The snowflakes are captured floating down over the treeline in the distance. Painted with non-toxic, water-mixable oil paints, on a Canadian-made maple panel. The sides of the gallery style panel are left unpainted since the wood is so beautiful and works well with the trees in the landscape. The light wood has a very modern and contemporary feel, and works almost like a frame, so it is ready to hang. Signed and dated on the back of the panel.
