Round landscape oil painting - “Blue Sky” - oil on 6” round birch panel

A summery, bright landscape with soft greens in the textured brushstrokes of the grassy field. I loved seeing how many shades of green I could find in the foreground of the composition. This landscape is created from a reference photo I took on a summer afternoon in a Caledon, Ontario field, with a beautiful blue sky and sweeping clouds. There are beautiful blended brushstrokes in the sky, and textured, layered brushstrokes in the ground of the field. Painted on a birch wood panel, with a bare light wood/particle board edge. (Shown in some images.) The bare edge is unpainted since the natural finish of the panel is so beautiful, and it gives the painting a modern feel. It also doesn’t require framing, and is ready to hang. Signed and dated on the back of the painting.
