I was listening to Radiohead when I painted this, so that’s where the title came from. It was painted from memory, and the darkness reflects the kind of day I was having. I love dark and stormy days sometimes though, and the balance of light with dark that is just a part of life. This simple seascape image is very minimalist, which isn’t typically how I paint, (almost verging on abstract) but I love the purple and blue brushstrokes in the dark sky. The canvas has a gallery edge, which is painted so that it doesn’t require framing, and is ready to hang.
