Fall landscape painting- “In a fog.”- Original oil on birch panel (8x10”)

A lush and soft green landscape painting with lots of textured brushstrokes in the grassy field. The grasses are painted with broad range of colours. The dark treeline with a hazy sky gives a good sense of atmosphere and depth. This landscape is created from a reference photo I took on an October afternoon in a Caledon, Ontario field, with a beautiful hazy fog. There are beautiful blended brushstrokes in the sky, and textured, layered brushstrokes in the ground of the field. Painted on a birch wood panel, with a bare light wood edge. (Shown in some images.) I bare wood edge is unpainted since the wood panel is so beautiful, and it gives the painting a modern feel. It also doesn’t require framing, and is ready to hang. Signed and dated on the back of the painting.
