A dark and moody fall landscape painting, with stormy clouds mixing together in the sky. There is nice contrast of the navy blue sky against the green in the field. Painted as a study for a larger oil painting. Done from a reference photo and part of an ongoing series of dark and stormy landscapes (both in watercolour and oils). This semi-abstract landscape is painted on 5x7” cold-pressed watercolour paper, and is signed and dated on the back of the painting.
