A detailed watercolour study painting with warm shades of pinks and greens in the petals, and delicate pencil lines showing through in the underdrawing. The colours blend beautifully together in the petals of the flowers and leaves. I love Hellebores so much, and think they are such an interesting and delicate spring beauty. It was such a pleasure to paint this study from life. This painting is signed and dated on the back, and would work well in a small 5x7” frame, or larger frame with a 5x7” mat.
